Crowned Champion Queensland First Season Sire back in the 2018/2019 season, Better Than Ready is now well established as the best active stallion in the state producing 128 winners this season of $10.3million.

He sired four stakes-winners with Group III winner Chidiac joined by Earn to Burn, Hidden Wealth and Epic Proportions, who won again at Doomben just last Saturday.

Chidiac has been a star for Better Than Ready - seven wins from 13 starts and $1.1million - Bradleyphotos.com.au

Better Than Ready has outstanding fertility and with nearly 70% winners to runners is a broodmare owners delight at the affordable fee of $27,500.

I Am Invincible stallion Barbaric is at the start of his stud career for Lyndhurst and while Better Than Ready has set the bar high for success, his five winners this season from just nine starters is cause for optimism.

Barbaric finished ahead of his Queensland based first season rivals on earnings and his five winners put him in the Top 10 first season sires by winners nationally.

While I Am Invincible has always been a good sire of juveniles, few would dispute that his progeny invariably hit their best form as older horses, so what we have seen so far from Barbaric is more than likely a small taste of what is to come.

A young stallion with potential for upside he is priced at the value fee of $6,600 this spring.
